Get To Know Us
At Shepparton Seventh-day Adventist Church, we’re all about Jesus. Everything we do flows from His love, grace, and example. We believe that church isn’t about appearance or perfection, it’s about a community of real people learning to follow a real Saviour together.
As our name suggests, we affirm the seventh day — Saturday — as a special time to pause, rest, and connect with God and one another. The Sabbath is a weekly reminder that we were created for relationship, not hurry, and that our worth isn’t found in what we achieve but in who we belong to.
The word ‘Adventist’ points to our hope in Jesus’ promise to return. It shapes how we live, serve, and love others, with joy and anticipation for the day when He will make all things new.
We hold to the Bible as our foundation and ultimate authority in matters of faith and practice. Our fundamental beliefs express what it means to live in a growing relationship with God and others, grounded in the principles of love, justice, mercy, peace, and hope.
No matter your background or where you are on your spiritual journey, you’re welcome here. Whether you’re exploring faith for the first time or looking for a place to belong, you’ll find a community that values authenticity, compassion, and grace.
We’d love to meet you. If you have any questions or just want to connect, reach out, we’re here for you.

Our Pastor - Jayden Croft
Jayden began pastoring at Shepparton Seventh-day Adventist Church at the beginning of 2025. Before that, he served as the Associate Pastor at Casey Seventh-day Adventist Church in Melbourne’s south-east, following his graduation from Avondale University.
He is passionate about helping people discover how deeply Jesus loves them and how that love transforms everyday life.
Jayden loves being part of the Shepparton church family and sharing in ministry with his wife, Hayley. Together they have a young son, Koa, who keeps them smiling and busy.
Jayden believes the church is at its best when it’s a place where people can be real, find belonging, and experience God’s grace in community.
